About me.

I’m currently pursuing a PhD through the EASTBIO Doctoral Training Partnership, based in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews. My research investigates the cognitive mechanisms that influence performance under pressure, with a particular focus on dance. I’m fascinated by what goes on in a performer’s mind when they’re in high-stakes situations, and I’m excited to explore how these insights can enhance performance and reduce anxiety.

Beyond my research, I’m deeply committed to championing equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in academia. As a member of the EASTBIO EDI subcommittee, I work to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and visible within research environments. I’m passionate about fostering a culture where inclusivity is at the core of everything we do.

Outside of academia, I have a passion for sport, and I recently took up long-distance running - a challenging but rewarding new adventure! I’m also an avid photographer, always looking for moments to capture life’s beauty through my lens.
