Iβm currently pursuing a PhD through the EASTBIO Doctoral Training Partnership, based in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews. My research investigates the cognitive mechanisms that influence performance under pressure, with a particular focus on dance. Iβm fascinated by what goes on in a performerβs mind when theyβre in high-stakes situations, and Iβm excited to explore how these insights can enhance performance and reduce anxiety.
Beyond my research, Iβm deeply committed to championing equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in academia. As a member of the EASTBIO EDI subcommittee, I work to ensure that everyoneβs voice is heard and visible within research environments. Iβm passionate about fostering a culture where inclusivity is at the core of everything we do.
Outside of academia, I have a passion for sport, and I recently took up long-distance running - a challenging but rewarding new adventure! Iβm also an avid photographer, always looking for moments to capture lifeβs beauty through my lens.
